Frequently asked questions.

  • Chiropractic focuses on the relationship between the spine, nervous system, and overall body function. Spinal adjustments help restore normal motion to joints, improving comfort, balance, and performance.

  • Common signs include stiffness, reluctance to move or turn, uneven gait, decreased performance, behavioral changes, or discomfort during grooming or saddling. Chiropractic care can also be part of a regular wellness routine.

  • Yes! When performed by a properly trained and certified professional, chiropractic care is very safe. Dr. Tyndall is certified through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA), ensuring each adjustment is precise, and appropriate for your animal’s needs.

  • Initial visits (depending on small vs large animal) typically take 30–60 minutes, and follow-up sessions are usually 15–45 minutes depending on the animal’s needs.

  • This depends on your animal’s condition, lifestyle, and goals. Typically, 3-5 visits are recommended to see improvements. Healing is a slow and gradual process! In most cases, the goal will be to achieve a maintenance care status.

  • Adjustments are specific movements made with the hands or adjusting tools. On occasion, if an animal needs an adjustment, they might show signs of pain or try to protect the area that is in need of an adjustment. Sometimes this is uncomfortable for them and they will express that. Once an adjustment is made, most animals relax and often show immediate signs of relief, like licking, chewing, or stretching. Dr. Jessica likes to meet the animal where they are and will adjust what the animal will allow or tolerate for any given day.

  • Yes! Bouncing Back Chiropractic is a mobile practice serving local barns and homes across the Triangle and surrounding North Carolina areas. Travel fees do apply separately from the adjustment fee.

  • You can request an appointment through the online contact form or contact Dr. Tyndall directly for scheduling and referral coordination.
